Your communications should keep up.

Your team is doing meaningful work.

Our team at Grandstand builds custom engagement toolboxes -cohesive systems of branded, editable materials organized around your most important organizational goals. Not a collection of one-off assets. A communications framework your team can actually use.

You have a logo. You have a website. But every time your team sits down to communicate, you feel like you’re starting from scratch.

The Gap

Most nonprofit teams don't lack design skills or good intentions, they lack a system. The development director rewrites the donation ask from memory. The ED builds a board deck the night before the meeting. The event program gets designed in a rush by whoever has time. Every touchpoint is a standalone effort, and none of them are pulling in the same direction.

The result is predictable: inconsistent messaging, wasted hours, and communications that don't do justice to the work your organization actually does. A toolbox closes that gap, not by giving you more stuff, but by intentionally structuring groups of materials that give you the right materials, designed to work together, ready to customize, repurpose, and actually use when you need them.

Three steps from scattered to strategic.

How It Works

01

Donor stewardship. Event preparation. Board engagement. Campaign launch. We identify which organizational function needs communications support, and starting building from there.

We start with your goals.

02

Every piece in your toolbox is designed to work with the others -the same voice, same visual identity, same strategic direction. No orphan assets. No one-off designs that expire after a single use.

We build the system.

03

You walk away with editable, branded materials your team can use immediately and maintain long after the engagement ends. The investment works well beyond the project itself.

Your team takes the wheel.

Built around what your team actually needs to do.

"The individual pieces matter, but it's the framework holding them together that makes the difference between a one-time effort and a repeatable process your team can actually maintain."

Questions

Before you reach out.

  • Every toolbox is scoped to your organization's specific goals, but typically includes a mix of designed templates (Canva-based, fully editable), written copy frameworks, and strategic guidance notes. The deliverables are listed under each bundle above -and the exact scope is finalized during our discovery call based on what your team needs.

  • Toolboxes typically range from $3,500 to $6,500 depending on scope and complexity. We scope each engagement to match your goals and budget -no surprise invoices, no creeping scope. You'll know the full investment before we start.

  • Most toolboxes are delivered within 4–6 weeks from kickoff. The timeline depends on how quickly your team can provide inputs (photos, approved copy, brand assets) and how many revision rounds are needed. We keep the process moving without rushing it.

  • Yes -that's the whole point! Every template can be built in Adobe Pro, AdobeExpress or Canva, specifically so your team can make edits without a designer. We include usage notes with each asset and walk your team through the system at handoff. If something needs more than a simple update, we're always available for additional support.

  • Ideally, yes -your toolbox materials are built on your existing brand identity (logo, colors, fonts, voice). If your branding needs work, we offer a Brand Identity & Communications Audit as a standalone engagement or as the first phase before toolbox development. One builds on the other.

  • The bundles above are starting points, not rigid packages. If your organization's needs span multiple categories or you need something custom, we'll scope it together during the discovery call. The structure is flexible; the quality and strategic thinking are not.
